My MP synspilum vieja

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
She's pushing 6 inches now, I just moved her and her carpintis boyfriend to a 55 gallon today, I tried taking some pics just now but she's just not looking/acting her best. All camera/people shy & the move has her looking dull, I mean I know she'll never be quite as colorful in the fins as your male, but she (normally) looks pretty darn good even for a female. I got her from Dan at Cichlids Of The America's as synspila "Belize"

This was a few weeks ago, her color keeps blooming more & more, seemingly by the day. She's definitely a bit larger/more colorful now, than she was in these pic's.

terrible pic from tonight, excuse the colored gravel, it was free & I really needed gravel for that tank, really not my favorite, I much prefer natural...also excuse my dirty tanks, I don't always scrub algae etc, when I do water changes.

Stunning fish!

I'm kind of hoping one day my syn will spawn, I think he'd produce some good looking off spring

I do have I believe a female but she wants nothing really to do with him, he'll just chase her around the tank until my convict snaps at him.it's not the greatest picture of them but it's something
