Just finished setting up my nano after work.

Equip:
5.5 Gallon tank.
AquaClear10 W/ Custom Spray Bar.
CPR 24w Power Compact.
Soon to have: Hagen Co2 Setup.

Plants:
Unkown for now.

I got the plants cause they were a fresh shipment at my store, so i never got an ID for them. Hoping somone could ID them haha.

I will be getting more plants, trying to get my hands on some flame moss and other ground coverage plants but dont know of any atm.

Future plants wont be released so you guys gotta keep your eye on this thread for the next update =]

Is your substrate layered, or just black sand? Why are you getting the co2 system from hagen, a 2 liter bottle is cheaper, and produces more co2.
 
Nope, just sand.

Im getting the hagen cause its only 15bucks, and looks better since its gonna be a desktop nano. No where to hide the soda bottle.
 
You can use many different things for the canister, but the hagen one is way too expensive, and doesn't utilize the proper tubing for co2 anyway.
 
Yeah, a pretty cool project and somthing to mess around with.

But if i could, i would of done a 20gal long, just looks alot better when planted. I just had to do the 5.5 cause i had the power compact that fit perfectly over one, and didnt want to spend 100bucks for a 20l one.
