My Native Tanks

 • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks. Yes they are. Try not feeding them for about two days and then soak the pellets in seachem garlic guard to start off. That's how I did it. The smaller they are the easier it is to do. I had some green sunfish adults before and it took considerably longer to make the switch with them.

Thanks. I'll give your method a try. I also got a baby pbass I like to convert also.

The tank looks great and the fish very healthy. Just curious what's up with all the fishing line on the driftwood, is it attached to something under the substrate, holding it down until it's waterlogged? It's a great piece of wood and perfect for that tank, too.

I'm guessing the wood are still floating, so the fishing line is tied to the wood and anchored to something heavier

It's tied to some rocks underneath. I actually got frustrated with it and ripped it out because I couldn't get it waterlogged. I think the wood was just too soft. I've got another piece of Malaysian driftwood I need to clean up and so I can put it in the tank.

Just added a new piece of driftwood today. No fishing line this time. It's not near as big as the old piece but it still looks pretty good. Here's a photo of it. I'll have a video before too long.

Wow, looking good, the driftwood really adds to the whole atmosphere of the tanks environment.

New video of the sunfish tank with the new piece of driftwood in there.

Sweet, lol I think your big bull L.E. has made that piece of driftwood his home, those chubs make a nice contrast to you Longears.
