i think neon is from a different location-peru, and has more pearls on the lower part of its body and more pearl lines on its chain. Yours is just a regular gold.

IMO the biggest difference is the width and depth of color in the orange band on the fins.
I'm gonna start my own strain/ bloodline. I'll breed a Silver Suam with a true Rivulatus to get a fish with a solid blue/green sheen on it's body.

Its possible there is a variant out there, but it just appears they were using big words to make their fish more attractive. Absolutely gorgeous GT though, so I think you came out for the better regardless.
