My new 10in Wild caught male Trimac from Conkel.

I'm trying to figure out what size tank to put them in to breed. Ideally I'd like another 125. Someone at work is giving me a "100 gallon" and 2 x 30 gallons for free. Talking to her though, it sounds like it's gonna end up being a 55 gallon. Thats ok if it is, I can at least separate them from the Citrinellus before things go nuts. A 75 would be better though, a 100 would be GREAT.

You can put them in there for now if its just them. But you know the bigger the better.

Third day in the tank and he is challenging the ranks. Slowly establishing his place in the pecking order. He WONT go near the top dog which is my white labiatus from Rapps. My labiatus will remind him who's in charge. He is healing nicely. He has that nice tear drop that I like. Even though I have seen some awesome tri's without the tear drop.

Thanks ED! Been wanting a trimac of this size for awhile. Trying to get a wild female for him.

Here is GMFISHNUTS old Trimac. Without the tear drop. SHOW STOPPER....

I have heard that they are extremely rough on their females. I will have the divider up with plenty of hiding spaces. On the hunt for a large female.

Trimacs are awesome. The one that you picked up from George is it a male or female. Also someone else chimed in about George being hiatus. I was wondering what had happened him. Nice guy.
