Hey I want to share my new Red Aro with you guys it is 12 inches, and 11 month old. Please share your opinion on its development and what veriety you believe it is.

Nice red aro. How old does it have to be before tanning regimen starts? Looks like it will be real nice as it gets bigger. From the pics I can't tell but does it have plj?
Scleropages verticalus would be my guess at the ID.
Looks like a nice fish without the pink light, doesn't need to be tarted up with gimmicks IMO.

Exactly David, I use the red lights when at night I just turn off the lights and just leave a 17 inch red led strip, Ive read that the color washes out when in complete darkness. I dont do any tanning, I dont think it has the PLJ as her mouth closes completely without any gaps or what not. I could be wrong diagnosing though... I will try and send more pictures.

you know I sat really close to the tank today to observe and see if there is plj, there might be the slightest but I dont think so. At least not easily discernible.
