What kind of light came with the tank? Looks nice and bright. For decor, what about some live plants?

It's a Deep Blue Professional SolarMax HE T5 Light. And yea I was thinking about some easy to maintain live plants and maybe so rocks to make some caves.

Also my water is still cloudy and I can't figure out why...It is getting better but very slowly...

My Seachem Stability came in today and I just finished adding the first dosage. I still have not figured out why the tank is still cloudy...and I won't add any fish until I can figure it out. Anyone have any idea? Here's another pic...

I added a Fluval water polishing pad on top of the BioMax in the bottom tray. I also added a fine filter pad on the top of the BioMax in the top tray. I added both yesterday and I don't see any improvements...what should I do?

The water parameters are:

pH-7.4
Ammonia-0 ppm
Nitrite-0 ppm
Nitrate 0 ppm

Even though the water is cloudy, can I still add fish?

I guess I should have posted this thread in the the general aquaria discussion section as I get responses instantly over there but they take a while over here...

Did you try gravel vacing to see if there is more crap stuck in the gravel? How about the biomax, did you rinse it out well before putting it in? How is the flow coming out of the fx5? I would just do a large water change to clear up the water. Don't see a problem in putting the fish in the cloudy water though. Just keep dosing with the Stability and add your fish if you don't mind the cloudiness.

Yes I did a gravel vac which helped a little bit but that's all. I did rinse the BioMax before setup. The flow is good as far as I know. Can I still do a 50% water change even after adding the stability?

This is the first time I have not used carbon when starting a new tank and it's cloudy haha. I guess I just have bad luck...I bought some purigen. now my question is where do I put it? I have Pre-Filter in the top, and BioMax in the middle and bottom trays. Here are my questions:

Do I want the purigen before the water hits the bio media or after?

Before the bio media:
Should I put the purigen on top of the the Pre-filter in the top tray? Or under neath the Pre filter? Or replace (take out) the pre-filter and put the purigen in the top tray alone? This would make it easier to change the purigen as it would be on the top.
OR
After the bio media:
Move the bottom BioMax tray to the top so that the biomax is at the top and middle, then put the purigen alone in the bottom tray?

All advice is appreciated :)
