Your african cichlids need a different water chemistry than the other fish in the tank, thus making it not the best home for them. If you do want to keep your Aro then you will want to look into a larger tank in the near future. The Pacu is a different story unless you are getting a VERY large tank. Good Luck

Ya, the Pangasius, Aro, Pacu, and Cigar Shark all need to go unless he wants to upgrade to a MUCH larger tank
yeah I think it should be illegal to sell fish that get that huge, and not tell people the size they get, and or even show them with like a model of the full grown fish. and be like you see how big itll get... your going to need a 300g..... or a pond/ lake.. lol
I agree, I just looked on the petsmart website and this is what it said about pangasius sharks and Pacus:
Pacu's: 24"+ and a 75 gallon tank
Pangasius: 24"+ and a 75 gallon tank
Is it even possible for a 2 foot long fish to move in a 75 gallon???????
Actually I really like my local petsmart, the stock is actually in really good shape and their sales can be awsome. They just lie because its all about a profit
But don't even get me started on our petco's.....
Yeah I no, however petsmart is the only petstore by me minus this place called petsupplies, petsupplies is expensive so I go to petsmart, the people that work at the one by me are very nowledgable though, and the one fish lady def knows her stuff.
Well i can't say i've had the same experience as you guys, however i always trust the privately owned petstores.
I've actually had the most bad experiences with privatly owned petstores
Number of Problems cause by each store:
Petsmart 0
Privatly Owned stores: 4
Petco: 2 (I've only shopped there twice >:/)
