your LFS is the one in the wrong. their just trying to make a quick buck. more likely than not its gonna be a retic stingray, which do stay fairly small. but will, 1) outgrow a 125 even though its a very small ray and 2) their actually difficult to keep alive.

hey your right! my lfs was wrong, so im goin to have the 2 oscars and my arowana in the 125, then in my 55 since im freeing up some space im goin to have 2 severums, i have a green severum, now i need to decide what i want for the second

Yea I got a 125 w/ stand, hood, and 2 110 aquaclears off craigslist for 200. always nice gettin a deal

he is only 5 inch now, ill be fine with the 125 for a while

If for a while you mean less than a year then yes. My aro grew over 14 inches in about 10 months. He was a little under 3" when I got him last May and was over 17" when I gave him to another member on here.

I was scared he was going to outgrow my 180 so he now lives in a 300.

I have a 180. All that is in it right now is 2 carpintis with about 100 eggs, 2 amarillo/red devil cross, 3 small angels, and 3 parrots.
