My New 125 Planted Discus and Stingray Tank

Nice set up. How are the plants doing? I have never been successful with a planted tank with stingrays :)
 
hes right about the aquascaping. if you have to have plants get lily pads or someting that floats. that tank looks really good, but after 24 hours, itll look like a tornado went through, lol. i also agree with moving that big ass piece of bogwood, like we said, looks good, but takes a lot of floor room. but its your tank. and it looks beautiful
 
I keep plants with my rays but I keep them in clay pots. The pots don't take too much space on the bottom and the rays can't uproot them as easily. Seems to work ok for me. I've had this setup for about a year.
 
Well if you look at the link on the top on my post, that will take you to ratemyfishtank.com there you will see the discus I am adding to my tank (the number 2 Fish under the name HappyMudSkipper). Anyway, if you look at the bottom and view more pictures of my tank then you will see that I have 16 Large Discus and Two Guyana or Histrix (i don't know the difference) Stingrays all in a 55 gallon planted tank for the time being. I would have liked to upgrade to a larger tank but I live on the third floor of a wooden apartment building.......so maybe when I move to house.
