My new 180g tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So, now the tank has 3 pearl danios, 4 sm angels, 2 cory palateus, 1 bristlenose pleco, 2 sm pearl gouramis, 2 neon dwarf gouramis and 20-25 ghost shimp. Still havent found the right Juruapari in the size i want. I found a pair of 6" high fin banded sharks for 56.00, very tempting, but i know the get way too big for my 180g

So now, I have 3 discus, 4 angels, 2 pearl leeri gouramis, 2 dwarf neon gouramis, 2 gold rams, 2 GB rams, 2 pearl danios, 10 Neon tetras, 15-20 ghost shrimp, 1 bristlenose pleco and a L-001 (i think thats what he is)

Tank has plenty of action, my discus are total opposite of the timid, shy fish you read about. Water peramiters look great with the exception of my ph which i have to keep an eye on. Using peat in the filters to bring it down with carbon to remove the tinting effect.

beautiful aquascaping. try adding some more plants, paint the background black, and try using a moon light :) that, IMO, would look really cool, but great work!!!

Thanks, I would like to add more plants, but i really don't wanna get into the Co2 deal. The red swords (2 small ones near the middle) are doing really well, might get a few more of those.

would the Geophogus do well with the discus?? My 3 are feisty, but they are still discus.lol
