just a hint with the baby turtles if you plan on releasing them into the backyard pond, add a little bit of pond water to help build up their immune system so they're not as vulnerable to parasites and such when they are released

thanks for all of the positive input. the six baby turtles are now in with the bigger one in the main tank and they are all doing great together. i agree with many of your opinions about having fish in there as well and they will be coming soon. when i get them i will add more pics. lastly to answer the question about why it is in the diy forum is because i welded the frame and painted it myself. i did have plans for making my own tank but because of its size i didnt want to take a chance of it ending up all over my basement floor.
