so to be honest, how much did that cost to build?!?! i would absolutely love to have a custom tank but the cost is what bugs me haha. that is one of the most beautiful custom tanks i have ever seen. by far the best one in a home. kudos to you. awesome fish as well.
as far as the giant tiger barb, i tried it as well. he got to about 4 inches and started getting weak. he died a few weeks later but he was 3 or 4 years old. i liked him =(

Don't these guys need some source of protein as well? I have a pink one and he eats pretty much anything you put in the tank. But mostly he gets Chiclid sticks, bottom feeder wafers, blood worms, Krill and various veggies (what ever I have in the house at the time). Have you tried giving him blood worms or something like that?
That is one cool tank! it's so different. How did you bend the acrylic like that? Was it difficult to do?
