It is a 3-d background poster. Im kind of curious as to what everyone thinks of the really dark Jag came from the same tank as most of them just hes alot darker then everyone else

I picked up 2 Jags in December, one has sky rocketed in size and color, the other remained dark like yours up until last week when I added a different pellet in their diet (wardley's "super premium" medium sized cichlid pellets), she's starting to show some yellow/goldish colors inbetween the black bars now.

I dont think its his diet since he gets good food and a lot of variety like treats. Im hoping he will have a unique coloring when he gets bigger.

Im using home depot and lowes play sand. I also rinsed the hell out of the sand to make sure if its moved it doesnt float and cloud up the water. If I move it it instantly fall back down. Ive had no problems with it.
