I'm confused about them calling it supreme 24k. From my understanding 24k is not the premium of the xback its the full helmet and blue base so calling it a supreme 24k just make it sound fancy. 24k in just a another xback.
It a gamble when it come to these fish and best farm.
I seen a lot of people claiming they have top quality xback then it get to 14"-18" and the back is not even cover with gold.
Nice pick up tho , hopefully it has some nice parents.I really like the panda bluebase xback.

I agree, They have 24K full helmets, 24K Blue base etc etc.... Most and if not all Gold helmets as well are just because of WTT and when you put them in a different tank it all fades away as well.
I purchase him because of swimming posture, fin and body structure, and fin to body ratio.
Its all just a fancy marketing term to try and sell more fish. its like calling a red a Violet fusion super red lol

I have a hi back red tail gold and this fish looks very similar to mine.

golds all look very similar when they are young. And some farms will try to pass off a hiback as a xb and so on. But Panda farm has an incredible reputation and his tag matches his paperwork so i am pretty certain he will turn into a gorgeous XB i have UV light on the tank to help bring the gold into his scales on his back and he is growing fast and getting nice Pearling happening on his back already
Would a uv light help mine, I started a thread about inhancing my aros colour as I don't want to use tanning bulbs. I'd like to try colour him up naturally through foods and so on
UV light is another way to tan, i have it because of live plants that i have in the tank but it will help with tanning.
I just use a zoo med 10.0 but the tank has a glass top so not all UV will pass through the glass
