Finished earlier tonight, will leave it until Friday before I put the tank on it and fill it up! Still to glue/screw an inch thick board of plywood on top of the board that I have cemented onto it and then the foam on top of that. I'll cover the blocks up with wood and add some doors etc after the new year when I decorate the room.
Thanks guys, i'm using canisters as filtration and there is just enough space in the gaps for the 2000LPH filters to fit. The board on top of the stand is actually wider back to front than the tank so i'll cut parts to allow the filter hoses to fit through. I bought it from aquariums-limited.co.uk, total cost of the tank with delivery was around £550 with glass sliders.
I would highly recommend putting down several layers of polyeurethane or epoxy on that board. You're gonna get water on it and you don't want to have to replace that board, with a tank that's fully established, due to water damage. Do it right the first time and save yourself a possible major headache in the future.
