My new 2600 gallon plywood tank project

Once again amazing work and progress VL, I wanted to know when you were doing the base how in you secure all those small supporting uprights.
In you pics you can't see any screws (front, back or sides?).
I think from memory when I spoke to Butch about applying Pond Armour straight on to a wood surface such as ply he suggested to thin your first coat with some denatured alcohol so that it penetrates into the wood for better adhesion.
GL with the rest of your build.

The uprights in the base were done with screws from the bottom of the sill plate up into the uprights. Then I ram set the sill plate to the floor. Finally I added the top two headers of the base in the same way.

Basically built mini walls and used the same method used to build a standard wall.

And yeah I will be mixing the PA with denatured alcohol anyways because I am rolling it out this time and not using the bondo scraper like last time.

flood tolerant is different than living submerged full-time, though there's a lot of wiggle-room when conditions are good. Most of the swamp & flooded forest tress you see will drown eventually- even though flood season can last >10 months.
With all that space btwn the water surface and the ceiling see about (red/rhizophora) mangrove trees, maybe set into tall pots. The propagule will drown if too deep, but the prop roots can go down a couple of feet. The restoration guys set them into PVC pipes- which look horrid, but they work in deeper water.

Both your houses? Damn. I'd kill to have just ONE of these tanks in a house, lol. Looking incredible. Can't wait to see further progress on this monster tank.
