My new 2600 gallon plywood tank project

sorry man, that sucks! glad to see you narrowed it down. good luck on the windows!!!

Testing on a scarp section of acrylic with the Denatured Alcohol works out really well. It also doesn't haze the acrylic as expected.

I will also try goo gone as well to see if that might work.

Tonight I will be using grey pond armor on the walls (easier to see pin hole leaks) and will be doing another leak test Saturday AM.

Doesn't that mean that you will get 3 quarts of free pond armor than?

With the pond armor distrubution issues could you use another product like Sweetwater over the pond armor?

Sweetwater is toxic until cured so I don't want to have to evacuate the house until it's cured.

Talked to Butch and getting some fresh stuff in next week. I am not going to be able to apply it though or leak test until after the holiday weekend.

All these delays are killing me.

So close too.

Ok, I have read and read and enjoy reading all about the build you have going on here. I do have a question for you, since you keep having leaks (because of difficulty finding pond armor) causing you to have to scuff and reapply, why did you not just spray in the pond armor? 10mil is thick enough for even more pressure than you will see from this build. Spraying is easier for a more fluent coat and I think you would have had less difficulty with making your build leak proof that way. I see you did acid etch the concrete sheets and taped the edges and soaked, all was right, I think your application was not smooth causing the leakage. just my two cents.
