Wait so what are you calling them Needlefish or Hujetta's because I can tell you they are not Needles...

And they are not gar and I just gave they guy a full list of what gars are about two days ago... Of which he then complained about LFS not knowing what true gar are... Then we now have several posts either asking if Belonids and Characin are gar or just posting them in gar...

The word ‘Needles’ which was just an epithet I gave at the time. I knew precisely what they were but just did not see a subdivision to put them in as I pointed out in the thread, I think if you had read that there would have been no need for the WTF.
Then I was pointed out the 'other characins division' which I thanked them for.
The gar division was just the closest I could think of and I then knew I would be put straight.

You might be up to speed on your ancients but stop the amateur dramatics.[/FONT]
