thats awesome. i used to have a delhezi as well, but only for 2 months unfortunately. he was a nice 11" and looked good at first, and after a month looked incredible with patterns and colors. always ate great for that first month eating commercial, frozen and live foods. after that first month he grew these nasty looking things on his face and body. i researched like a mad man to figure this out, but nothing matched what he had. he stopped eating so i treated it with clout and those things on his face got bigger and fell off. they looked like the same color of his skin with some pink when they were attached, but when they fell off they looked black like burnt bbq and couldnt make out what they looked like at all. the ones on his body never left and eventually they came back on one side of the face and the eating was reduced to once every 3 or 4 days again. i brought him back to my lfs where i purchased him and he took him back. i was in contact with the owner during the whole 1 month that he was sick and i was treating him. the lfs owner wasnt happy about giving me a refund, but whatever this was that the delhezi had came with him, it was not from my fish or my tank. i had no new fish after i got him and this problem only happened to him. plus the owner told me when i bought him that these delhezi get a parasite only known to happen to them and is normally killed off by clout. he treated him before i bought him guarenteeing that it shouldnt have the parasite. i figured the shop with all of its medications and multiple employees and experience would be able to cure this with much better promise. unfortunately he died two weeks later. i wanted to buy him back if they could cure it. sucks. has anyone encountered this problem before?
