My new 4 in. Brokopondo ocelli

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks

This guy is an eating machine. In a 12 hour span he has eaten 17 hikari carn sticks. His color has dramatically changed already.

I can see he has grown noticably.

Heres a photo of the broko that I just took.

This guy eats like a mad man averaging 22 hikari carn sticks a day. He has grown a bit already and is pushing 4.5 inches now.

Going to be a stunner. Nicest cichla I had yet.

I just took a new photo of my broko ocellaris with crystal clear water for my 2 week update.

Now you can see what he really looks like.

Included just below this most recent photo is a photo taken of him the day he came home 2 weeks ago. F11 key gives a nice comparison.

This guy has grown and changed a ton since I got him from Rapps.

I just took these photos for my 1 month progress update. This guy grew a ton and changed so much. I estimate this guy at 5 1/4 or 5 1/2 inches. The red in the tail and fins is insane. Rapps sold me a gem.

Amazing colors for its size. Is this WC? Could that be the reason for such colors so early?

Yes its wild caught.

Every fish is different so color may vary in that way. I just got lucky in what Rapps sold me.

If you want 1 of these guys , only Jeff Rapps at Tangled up in cichlids and Wes at Rare fish import these guys in the USA.

At the moment Jeff is sold out and I'm not sure but Wes may still have some.
