I read it all...great setup. How did you cycle it so fast? Did you just use filters from the previous tank?

Yeah moved the filter over. I've only got an Eheim 2215 on it at this stage so turnover is only just over 1 tank per hour, but I've got some powerheads here if needed and an additional filter arrives on Monday.

That is looking good. What kind of moss and hair grass are you going to use?

You should follow the ADA 2007 a little closer and take the drift wood almost to the waterline.

Been thinking about this and I'm not sure about the moss and have decided not to use any hairgrass. I was just inspired by the layout itself with the large open substrate area. Also not possible to take up so much height with the driftwood in such a high tank :)

I dont knowif you cna get them in Australia but what about an inline heater for your canister that way it will be out the way so you can focus on the acquascape and fish. Just an idea but man that tank is awesome

When/If I sump it mate. I don't think I've ever seen an in canister heater over here actually. The horizontal poisition is temporary as thats where we originally filled it to before starting to heat it.

Nice thread, Thanks for sharing your tank looks really nice.

Better full tank shot.

All fish are fine, all ate this morning and got a pea as a treat for lunch :p

just a design suggestion with that main peice of driftwood you should stand iy up on the branches and have the trunk sitck ou of the tank

Original plan when I bought it, but it just doesn't work. Love it where it is now actually ;) Aquariums R Us make good tanks, but the price is even better :D
