i have a little question though...
my female con is bigger than the male and its chasing him around. this normal?
afraid that it myt stress out the male, i added another male but still smaller... so shes kind of chasing both male... what do i have to do? should i get her a bigger male than herself?
sorry im not so good abt cons. :( here is a pic of her in action chasing the male

hey man tank looks great but convicts get 5-6 inches and how big could your 5.5 gallon tank be?

thanks! i really love that nre tank... imo, cons will get to that size if their put on a pond or something with a vast amount of water and swimming space... coz normally i see ard 2-3inch of cons that are tank raised.

i bought my gf a 5gal last april and she bought a pair of cons and they live very happy on it and breeded twice already... theyre so cute especially with the 7 baby cons that made it! :)
upon seeing it i got envy lol and i wanted the same setup! hehehe...

Setup looks good, but they get big and fast. I have one that is only a few months old and he went from 2" to 4" in a couple months. My cons never spawned inside my 5.5 gallon tank. Personally I would go for at least a 20, but a 10 would be better, and cost less than the 5.5 gallon tank.

thanks! u r true that a 10 gal is much cheaper than the 5.5 idk y tho! :irked: but my problems is the space i really didnt have the space for another tank but since i want to have a con in a 5gal tank like my gf had... i squeeeeeeeeeeeeezed it.
