My new 75 gallon set up from Petsmart.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was looking at 75 at petsmart. How much with tax?
Black Friday sale...it was $250...75g tank, stand, glass top, and LED light bar.
Looks great, full tank shot?
Tank looks very good! I agree that all that slate at the bottom if going to trap a ton of crap and make getting the tank clean very difficult. It is a new tank right now, in a few months you will see what we are talking about.
I dig the look though
Its my first tank...I still have a lot to learn and everyone’s advice here does help tremendously....I put the slate down so they wouldn’t dig into sand under the driftwood and to make it kinda look like a rock slide....kinda got a little carried away...

Understandable, it does look nice. But with those rocks there you will be unable to gravel vacuum close to 30% of your tank. You will find if you try to move them to vac underneath, all the detritus will swirl out and into the water column. Just trying to save you a headache, I would probably remove most of the slate from the bottom, at least where it completely covers the sand.

I removed all the small rocks and kept a few of the bigger slate rocks...and you were right about the debris... thanks
