Feed him after the lights are off. It takes a while, but wait till all the other fish are done eating/ being active. When he comes out to explore, feed him with whatever you can come up with. I got mine to eat when the tank was dark at first, then when the lights were on. Now he's eating from my hand

yea if he has a hiding spot that he stays in a lot (which i reccomend so he feels safe) use a gravel vac and send the bloodworms down to him, thats the only way mine would ever eat

youve only had him for a week, he just needs to get settled, feed him frozen bloodworms, at night when the tank lights are out.. he'll eat
