the fish in the video is obviously a male. if you watch the whole video, you'll see that he has several large, well defined egg spots on his anal fin, highly contrasting colors, and long, flowing fins. females are pretty, but they lack the long pointed fins, eggspots (some females have them, but they are fewer, smaller, and not well defined), and the high contrast of this male. the female will have the orange like the male, but the white will be less vibrant and more of a pale orange...
enjoy your new male! he wont be all that aggressive... no more aggressive than other peacocks. He'll probably max out at about 5 or 6 inches
