well he's eating today which is good, he hasnt tryed it with any of my young cichlids either. infact one of the smallest, a two inch mayan showed him straight away he werent messing around lol... bearing in mind the pike is around 7 inch that made me smile!-)

Every time I see one of these fish I want to get one. And the fact that you said it wasn't messing with your cichlids makes me think I could possibly put one in my Geophagus Comm. Great pickup! One of my favorite predators.

Well I've heard some horror storys of gut eating, think its a lot less likely than a. Red belly though! As he grows he's getting brave! Here's a few pics of him making a mess with a krill cube. pictures done on my phone so a bit crappy.

Tank isn't dirty although it looks that way I jus fed em all with pellets fish and cubes, here's a pic now jus for my piece of mind lol!
