my New Aimara, let u see it.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I keep a 12 inch aimara with cardinal tetras with no issues. But he'll attack everything the looks like a potential threat and eats pretty much everything else. It seems like a cards are small and fast enough that it's not worth the trouble.

I am going to assume one of these days that flag tail is going to be chomped in half though. But you never know!

Good luck!

thats a cool lookin flag tail

Thank you my friends. I have moved the flagtail to another tank already. So aimara stay alone. i will buy the small cardinal lived with him like JMorash's suggestion as tankmate. :)

Nice Aimara. Clear, awesome pictures. I currently keep my Aimara with another Aimara, two Mala, a few peacock bass, two Armatus, and two datnoid that are about same size (Aimara is 14" and other fish is 10"-17".) In the past, I also keep bichirs, arowana, clown loach and catfish with my Aimara. In my opinion, you can keep Aimara with tankmate that is also predator fish at about same size
