channa...listen...THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 2 FOOT TARPON! :nilly:
THEY DONT EXIST!
http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=227
There are a few species that stay a little over 2 feet but they are called Ladyfish and Machete and look NOTHING like yours! im telling you!
could we just let it go now??
even if you use the species of fish i keep as feeders, it doesnt make them less than yours. does that mean that if i own a cat and you own a dog and dogs are more often ABUSED then cats, that means cats are better pets?
no.
im done here

i never said mosquitofish were BELOW any other fish.;)
and if youve read up a little bit more, you'd know that some indo pacific tarpons only got to 50cm.
and even if it did get to 5 feet,i have no problem.;)

ok show me some literature where it says 50cm

Tarpon live in many tropical areas of Australia in both fresh water and saltwater. Species in fresh water tend to be smaller than the saltwater species, growing just over 50cm, while saltwater species grow over a metre. In saltwater they mainly feed on prawns and herring, but also many other small fish. In fresh water there is not a significant difference in their food habits; they eat freshwater prawns and bony bream mainly. Unlike the Barramundi, they are able to breed in fresh water and saltwater.
