Blue arro's are a varient of black arro's I thought?

you might just have a little silver arro, they do show all kinds of hues when the light hits them. either way it's a beautiful fish and you should be happy with your purchase!

Definitely a silver. A blue would be easy to tell at such a small size as they display lots of black coloration. But nevertheless it's a beautiful fish that will grow fast! I would go with the hikari sticks..once they start eating live food they don't like to settle for anything else. I personally use the hikari sticks and once in a while some lean chicken or tilapia. Mine have grown over 1.5 feet in just under a year. They are pretty awesome fish. Best of luck!

he loves the hikari sticks already, i feed it to my other fish so it was available to try and he took to it. hes a punk, if i open the top to clean the tank he gets into the back corner and splashes water at me with his tail. i thought it was a one time thing but he seems to do it quite often. what a personality this guy has!!

thanks for the heads up unfortunately ive already seen the little bugger fly. he has jumped out when i was cleaning before luckily landing on my bed along side of the tank. i was there to promptly put him back, im not into sleeping with the fishes!
