Here it is a week later, eating carni sticks, meal worms, silver sides and NLS. Put on some weight, color and about an inch + in length.

Thanks, it's looking nice and healthy. But Madonna me! This thing eats like there's no tomorrow! I don't know where it puts it. I can't even feed the Jardini without this Cavone eating everything I put in the tank.

Both getting along? What size is the Jar again?
 
They get along the Jar is only about 3" so really to small to exert any authority. Right now the silver is dominant at twice the little Jars size. The jar is very tentative about going after any food when the silver is around because the silver attacks anything that hits the surface and the Jar gets scared. But the little guy loves its mealworms.

well i coulda told you that, mine eats like there's no tomorrow. he wen't through a whole bag of cichlid gold alone in like 2 weeks when i first got him
 
I got mine at shark aquarium at first he was very scared to eat around me but now the second he sees me he goes crazy for food! I give him hikari carniesticks, crickets, bloodworms, and red shrimp. Here's a cool edited pic of mind:)

Silver update, growing like a weed, filling out and showing some nice colors. I still say not bad for 25 bucks.
