Just made my tank a WHOLE lot better :):) , bought a AT and he is AWESOME! He looks so cute... well, for a fish his little fins go crazy! He initially was nervous... for 5 minutes! Then this little guy (dwarfed by the other 2 indos) decides to bully the largest bichir in the tank (about 4 times his length) :screwy: pushing his tail and forcing the big guy out of his area, then within 15mins he was swimming with the big guys around the tank, he even decided to bite/nip one! Doh! nuts! mmmmm donuts :grinno:. He is still shy of me but that will change Im sure, will get photos when I can, a bit camera shy at this stage. :grinno::grinno: Im very happy also that with the addition of this guy my oddball barred indo has become more stable again:headbang2, stoked, all the dats looked really cool swimming in a trio around the tank - all the tigers are now stable, YES!! HAPPY HAPPY!:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:nilly:

wow silvers are cool....how big??
pics pics pics can't wait

Only about 3 inches, tiny bugger but cocky hangs out with my 2 5-6 inch indos:) However only prob is that it will take a little while to get an average picture due to his shyness of my camera and the %#%@ quality of a camera lol

Go for a datnoid, they have personality like cichlids, they look awesome, dont really have teeth (never seen any) but they have HUGE mouths when they yawn, dont know why you would want one for slow growth tho? I cant wait for mine to get massive :)

congrats on the pick up! i had my silver in my ntt community but it got too territorial so i had to put him in a seperate 10g. it definitely likes its own tank and isnt even shy anymore. it comes to eat bloodworms straight from my chopstick when i feed it.

Well i have limited space so i would probably grow them out while i go to college ( in 4 years ) and by that time they would be huge, i could sell them if they get too big or just grow them big enough to go into my monster tank

This dude just keeps hiding behind the filter intake, and when I whip out the camera when he is out he darts back again :(, pisses me off a bit, nothing pics on him and yet he still is shy, probly not gonna get any pics - kinda makes the thread useless now, sorry guys
