so i got home today and it was dead...this fish lasted a solid 72 hours...thanks for the well wishes though guys, i guess better luck next time

Would have given you information about how hard they are to acclimate, as well as how to tell a sick/dying pleco from a healthy one. I didn't mean to offend, but what I said almost always remains true in this hobby.

No, but knowing what to look for in terms of health and knowing what not to buy would have saved you from dealing with this.
