I don't really know. I got them from the LFS and it's not labelled. They are a mixture of light coloured pellets.

You need time for the bacteria to start growing on them. My suggestion is start with slower flow rate before going for heavier flow rate. The reason is to give the bacteria chance to grow on them.

Sian... The newly bought plants on DW tainted my water till yellowish looking... Looks like I will need to bear with this yellowish tint for a few weeks...

My smaller grow up tank is housing some mono and kelberi bahia.
