Hi gangster, these are merely around 2 inches at it's largest currently. Ya they do have that araguaia look but for sure these are not araguaia. I have pieces which I have been keeping from the same parentage and from the same breeder. I do understand your concern for I have seen small araguaia as well and they do look identical.:)

I'm still waiting for the 5 incher to morph with spangles which I'm seeing some form of them developing on it.
 
It will definately more expensive when the fish is exported to india my friend. But I manage to get my 2 inches mono at SGD$2.50 a piece.;)

Awesome news Koji! Good to hear. Snap some pics for us please. We love cichla pics. And I love ponds filled w/ cichla :)
I hope we are able to get aro's from you one day.....laws gotta change sooner than later. YOur aro's are top notch. Im sure you'll be able to do the same w/ your cichla.

And cool insight on the looks of those new bahias...very interesting. YOu guys have such cool bahia's over there w/ all guys breeding in there ponds. I look forward to pics. Maybe you can start a "cichla pond" thread...where you can visit breeders and show us pics of their bass and ponds :)

You won't wanna see all those ponds in some of the breeders. I have seen ponds filled with different kinda pb in there for breeding. Ended up alot of hybration is happening here in singapore. That's why I only visit breeders who only have species pond breeding in their factilies. These are not any new type of bahia. These are just bahia bred out from F0 WC kelberi. So sometime, it's hard to tell if the smaller one are true blood or not and it's all boil down to the supplier or seller most of the time over your side. For me I only believe what I see and from there decide.:)
