You won't wanna see all those ponds in some of the breeders. I have seen ponds filled with different kinda pb in there for breeding. Ended up alot of hybration is happening here in singapore. That's why I only visit breeders who only have species pond breeding in their factilies. These are not any new type of bahia. These are just bahia bred out from F0 WC kelberi. So sometime, it's hard to tell if the smaller one are true blood or not and it's all boil down to the supplier or seller most of the time over your side. For me I only believe what I see and from there decide.
Ahhh...very interesting Koji. Please take pics of the ones you do visit. I love seeing ponds...as well as cichla hybrids outta the norm that we are used to...mono x occel. And the reason your bahia's look so different is because the wc(f0) pair is different from all/most of the bahia pair that was first introduced into the trade.
Please make that "cichla pond" thread.
Come to singapore and buy and bring back yourself.
