my fish go for these bottom feeder pellets....full of protien,should fatten them up nice....with haliraki cichlid pellets.....mine wouldnt eat for two days...its normal after a move and obviously diff food........congrats guys...i love mine.....went from 2inch-8-9inch in 6months

My mom thought mine was very colorful but my g/f said the same thing. Perhaps if it wasn't so mean she would like it, you couldn't even walk by the tank w/o it wanting to attack you.
 
I got three little Jags a couple weeks ago and I love the personality. One of them is growing twice as fast as the others. They are in a tank with some other larger, more aggressive cichlids ( Odo, Trimac, Dovii ), but they hold there own well. I like watching them flare there gills out when they are protecting there little territory. Mine really like freeze dried blood worms, little pieces of fresh fish and will sometimes take the Hikari Cichlid Mini Pellets.
