Nice Arowana:) I got a bag of jumbo carnisticks to my Silver Aro today, but I´m gonna have to train mine to eat it,he just spits it out again :p

Food Sticks are better for young arowanas, carnisticks are just HUGE! haha I hope you can train your aro quickly and easy!

i didnt realize jars liked to b at the bottom of the tankim on my second silver aro and neither of them ever hung out at the bottom of the tank

Yeah, mine actually spends a lot of time in the bottom when not doing anything, I guess it is because there is nothing else to do in the tank, I'm starting to think I should get some fishes for her to be with!

Very nice, looks like its going to be a beauty! Keep us posted on pics! ;-)

I sure will! I've been out for a while and know I'm back home! I'll post some more pics soon! My aro is REALLY getting gold, and that is making me very happy! I want her to grow quickly so I can see her big and shiny :) Thanks for your comment!

make sure you have a secure cover over the tank because they can jump. also try feeding it muscles thats what i feed my green aro. hope this help check out my you tube channel its matt98626 might give you a few more ideas on what to feed him. e.g crikets and try get him on pellets

Thanks for the advice mate! The aro is still very little, so I've covered it with a sheet of glass that fits perfectly with the top of the aquarium, I'll later on get a stronger and heavier cover! Nice cats you have! I saw your channel! Mine is rgr010 feel free to check some videos! ;)

It's possible for your jardini to have red/orange pearls when it gets bigger. Mine is at 18" now and the pearls on its body are orange. Your baby jardini's color may change over time or not. Diet does play a role in bringing out different colors.

Was wondering if aros whiskers grow back even or just stays uneven?

Depends on how badly damaged they are. Also Silvers tend to grow back their barbels better than Jardini's can. The further it's broken/ripped towards the base of the barbel, the lower the chances of it growing back to normal.
