My new Baby JD

Some JDs are very shy and skittish. Just give him time to get comfortable in his new home. He should eat cichlid pellets, krill, blood worms, flakes, etc.

I would put in some non aggressive fast tankmates. He will see that its ok and be out and about in no time!

Have you tried feeding him flakes yet, thats whats I had to do to coax mine out of hiding after he wouldn't eat for a couple days, after you get him out and eating try crushing some cichlid pellets after that
