It was funny because in the last few days I had noticed the JD getting more aggressive and picking on the pleco. At least a few times when the JD was chasing the Pleco the big Oscar would just swim between them and instantly the JD stopped and turned around. Pretty funny to watch actually.
 
I had an O that would prtect/guard a woodcutter cat that had taken over my little Texas' flower pot. The texas would flare and charge the cat, then the O would step in and block his advances. Pretty dang entertaining...
 
Make sure you don't let them over eat. I kinda put 12 feeder fish in my tank when I went on spring break and it was a mess :) They will eat until they get sick
 
you gotta be real careful when your feeding feeders to Oscars, I know everyone harps on this but its because Osacars are extremly subsectible to HITH and feeding your fish just feeder can cause this, plus all the diseases they can contract from them if you don't quarantene the fish first, if you want to feed you Osacar live foods try feeder crickets or earthworms dug up from an area that hasn't been fertilized
