Beautiful. Is she Amelanistic?

How does she handle? What does she eat?

I don't think she's Amel - according the the guy she is het for hypo and jungle. She handles great, very sweet snake, she's not nippy at all. When she was shedding she would hiss a lot at everything but that's it. At his place she was eating rat fuzzies, but here she's eating mice (no stores in the area sell rat fuzzies).

try and get her on rats asap.
she is a STUNNER!!! best looking boa iv seen for a while.

Congrats! She's a hypomelanistic for sure. I've been out of the hobby for a few years, may get rusty, but hypomelanistic and jungle are co-dominant trait, so either they are, or they are not, can't be het like recessive trait such as albino. She's a beauty! A hypo with reduce pattern. If she's already on rat fuzzies, it's just a matter of time she'll be big enough for small rat... I know it frustrated sometimes when the store in your area doesn't carry the food you want.

no offense ive seen better snakes but there extremely good breeders..but for the price of that python psh id take it! it looks like a hypo morph to me..great deal! id like to stay updated if i can..

It's a boa constrictor, not python! :grinno:

Thanks everyone for all of the compliments ! :)

Would love to feed her rats, but that would require me to breed them and I am not doing that one again lol. The closest reptile shop to me is 30 minutes away and they aren't very consistent with what they carry, normally it's just mice and sm, med, lrg rats. Once in a while they get in rat pups or jumbos but not very often.

I really do wish that I could find someone around here but she's gonna be eating small rats before I know it so I'm not too worried :)

No doubt I've seen better but for $50 from some random guy I'm really not gonna complain. She is amazing to me and one of the best looking boas I've seen in a while.

Thanks for clarifying about the hypo/jungle thing. I thought so but I just went with what the guy told me as normally I rescue all my animals so you don't get too many morphs when rescuing, so I don't bother to learn them.
