My new baby

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm going a little overboard with the pic taking. Thankfully, true to Fahaka form, this fish is a ham. I'm convinced he's grown since I got him, too. If so, it's because there is no more competition for food. There were at least 10 of them in the one little tank. :irked:

for such a small Fahaka, it looks actually quite healthy... normally when i see them at that size they are obviously full of parasites (very skinny with sunken in bellies and sides)... if you haven't already done so, you may want to be on the watch out for any nasties your puffer may still be carrying though... coz i know i've had a hell of a batter deal with IPs recently...

But otherwise, congrats on getting a very cool fish...

Thanks! I've been watching out for bad poop, but so far, I've only seen one poo and it was normal. My daughter wants me to call it a he, I always want to say she. Anyway, s/he is eating well, too. His belly gets plump after a good feeding, and goes down as the day goes on. Right now, we're doing breakfast and a small bed time snack. I will taper off and adjust as appropriate.

How big is she?
