It's a 1.5 g it was on sale from Petco from 30 to 20$. The beta was a "see you soon" gift from my aunt. Man, I miss her so much..I love her more then my mom aside from all that it was a great gift and thought mfk would be glad to see my new guy. I know the tank is small but could I add any other tank mates? Or no?

I would stay away from other tank mates in a tank that size if the betta doesnt kill em it may jusr end up stressing him out especially if the tank.ates are fin nippers. Bettas actually do get somewhat sizable iwoukd just sit back let him grow and hope he enjoys his new home.

only one thing might work is a very plain pregnant guppy, dull color and small fins usually don't attract aggression from bettas. They love to hunt the fry. guppies have multiple batches from a single mating. if he acts like a jerk you can return her.
But guppies need a bit more than heat than bettas.

I've never done that. no idea. but you need to go with the least bioload in that tank.

Those are the best kit betta setups. I would switch to sand makes cleaning really easy you can siphon the poop out with airline tubing.

Is your betta a female?? I think with the light color of the rocks.. your betta may not color up... Just a thought...

I would suggest not adding any tank mates. Even something really small like a shrimp. I think your betta would appreciate as much space as possible. But another thing bettas can and will eat shrimps.
