OK i just got home and he is floating around in the current in the tank going up and down not breathing hard or anything and the water is good i just checked it......... ANY IDEAS?
 
I had one this small and fed it nothing but bloodworms for 3 months and then flakes and pellets after the 3 months. It grew to 25 inches in 3 1/2 yrs and then I lost it due to a stupid mistake. For the 3 months it was in a 25 gallon by itself with just the filter for current. What size tank is it in? It could be stressed from too much water flow.
 
I took it back to the store i bought it from and had the owner look at it, and check water params. Water was good he seems to think it was just weak or maybe sick. It died shorty after i got there. It could be too much water flow i guess it was in a 70 but not a ton of water movement.... I dont know just a bad day.

To bad it died!!! I used to see these small ones all the time in the shops but havent seen one in a couple years. Dont feel like it was your fault. The majority of them die off young after all the shipping, stress, change in parameters, ect...

I seen some poor baby sivers slowly dying at Walmart this evening
 
I just hate that it died:irked: I really try and take good care of my fish. My wife says if the fish new how good they would have it they would swim to our house:D
