My New Black Diamond Gold Piranha!

Here is my new black diamond gold piranha! It's going to be a gift for my boyfriend, who's setting up a new planted 55gal.

Just picked him up today at a local store.

Camera doesn't do his looks justice. His color is awsome!

What do you think of him?...any name suggestions?

yep. Thats a maculatus alright. If it was a rhom the head would be shaped differently, and at that size he would already have a red eye. Oh yeah and your fish is gold and has the distinctive tail band of S. maculatus.
