the gar and the bass kinda feed themselfs normally. i will throw a dozen or so shiners in there a week. the bullhead will even eat the shiners as well. as for the pan fish, right now i have been feeding them night crawlers but i think that i am gonna switch them over to pellets soon. at 4.00 a dozen, the worms are expensive especially going through about 3 doz a week. the bullhead will eat pretty much anything it can fit into his mouth. worms, shiners, crawfish, he has eaten it all.

He has been eating omega 1 pellets,bloodworms, and he ate the last of my gars hikari food sticks,he's actually a little bigger and bulkier lol I'll post a pic when I get home

He's good sized and a beauty! I doubt that bluegill will hit 14" I've yet to see a bluegill bigger then 12" unless it's a hybrid or from a pond. The meanest locals I've kept are green sunfish and SM/LM bass. My two favorite locals to keep are crappie and pumpkinseeds. Both are fairly peaceful compared to bluegill/sunnies. My gills killed my crappie which really sucked cause the crappie are jus like water dogs IMO. I love keeping natives.
