very, very nice, i've just picked up some escondido juveniles i hope i get one as good looking as yours.
 
I was very excited when I saw him at my LFS. Somebody brought him and a bunch of other fish to trade. It's obvious that he has been in a couple fights during his life since his tail fin is a little raggety from growing back from injury, but he is perfect otherwise. No idea why somebody would want to get rid of him, hes a very nice specimen and laid back.
 
Great looking Carpintis. It always amazes me how people just take fish back to a pet store like that. It's not an Escondido though in my opinion. Just a good old fashion tankbred Carpintis. Great find.
