Well I just bought a new male convict today, they didn'y have a female there, so i will have to wait until next tuesday when they get them in. Those two will he housed in a 20g long tank with a cory, a fiddler crab, and 2 feeder fish that were left over from my oscars. They have a big piece of driftwood in there and a few fake plants. I'm going to get a few plant pots for the convicts and there's this coral sand seashell in there.

say no to flower pots and go with slate!! naturalllllllllly
Coca nuts are cool TOOO :) Just bought two last night.. Waiting for the people in the house that like em to eat em so i can use them :D

But ya they wont really be housed with thos fish :D Maybe ....

But I would think a better explanation for this would be
"They are going to be placed in a twenty long to evict by any means available the other inhabitants; Most likely through an onslought of video taped violence in which i will post for all you people, and raise their own tank mates :D" Show us the vid :D and if the original mates live ... Oh well.

I would try and beef up the female for a couple of days in a quaintine tank, let her get nice and round in case she is not ready to spawn since the male is in there first he might not be happy if she is not ready. After that they will be like rabbits with gills lol.

once they have fry those other fish in there really wont have a chance if they get to close..

mine herd the 5 fish that are with them into a corner, and the fish are smart enough to stay there, lol

well, good luck

if i keep the water at like at like 79 they wont breed am i correct...i dont have any slate int he tank..

100% wrong, theres no sure proof way to keep em from doin the dirty unless u kill em...
And slate is free round my parts... came form my grandomthers rock walls!! haha she didint care..!

and my convicts breed in 80 degree water...and the ph when i checked this past w/e was almost 8!!! immediate water change and now were back at like 7.4, still high but they still have babies all day all night!
