so jw, but is there any smaller kinda fish that will eat the baby cons or like their eggs?

kk well I just picked up the female convict, and she's about a lil bigger than him, and everything going good so far.

Wow - they've certainly got plenty of room in there! You should give them a bit more cover if you can.... the old rocky cave seems to do the trick for Cons. Mine have spawned 10 times and only once in a flower pot, so they seem to prefer natural rock. You don't need to go mad with it (see pic below!), just give them something natural to lay their eggs in. Your tank is so big, they should love it, plenty of room to bring up fry. By the way, whats with the pic of the 2 Oscars - and what does the bottom one have in its mouth?

o those were the 2 fish i had before, but they were too messy and **** alot, and thats a feeder fish. But ya I'm putting some rocks in there and im gonna get some to make kinda a cave, but thx.
