After selling all my tanks and taking a year off I have decided to come back. I have a new 75 gallon that is finally done cycling. In it, a 4-5 inch Cuban I just picked up. I have read these are harder to sex. Any guesses?
I measured him the other day and he was a bit under 10" TL. Probably would have grown more if he hadn't have been breeding since about 3". I believe he's about six years old--I've only had him about a year? More or less.
Aggression? With his female, 0. With other fish? At first it was ok, but once I put them alone (pair) they weren't having any of it. I just keep them together now without tank mates. They spawn regularly.
Looks male to me but like i was told vent the cuban take pics of the vent and post them on here to be 100% sure i went through this i have had 3 cubans and now down to one because of aggression. is there anything else goin in with it
